About LarpForge

How did LarpForge begin

Hai my name is Martin and I began LarpForge back in 2012 as a little webshow about LARP(Live Action RolePlay) on YouTube. Back then it was named The LazyLarper, but soon changed it to LarpForge.
It was started as a way to share knowledge LARPers in-between, make a place where new LARPers could feel inspired and see what the hobby is/could-be about.

LarpForge is a webshow about LARP (Live Action RolePlay), created by LARPers for LARPers… and everybody interested.

I soon got some of my friends to help me out and we where a little team, helping out giving each outer advice or helping out with the videos.
We where very inspired by the old indie film youtube channel “Indy Mogul”, and wanted to create something similar just for LARP.

The goal was to expand the LARP community and create a common place for LARPers to connect too.Some of the things we make on LarpForge are

• How-to’s/DIY guides on props, costumes, weaponsH
• Have discussions on LARP subjects
• Interviews.
• Other stories related to LARP or something that could be relevant .

Publish schedule

We try to keep to a schedule where we publish a video or posts every week, but at the same time it is also a matter of making content we are proud of and contain something good. So sometime it’s not always relevant and sometimes other things are more important, but we always return 😉
